Never Can Have Enough Content

One of my favorite things to do is travel especially when I can use business as a reason (or more so of an excuse) to travel. Amongst the various Facebook groups I’m a part of, I found this new venue hosting a styled shoot for wedding vendors to take a part in. What was even more shocking was it was located in the same town that I used to attend my marching band sleep-away camp back in high school.

What really made this styled shoot unique was the amount of variations in backgrounds, models and styles you could get all with one shoot. It was a relatively inexpensive shoot to attend which made it even a better experience than what I could’ve even imagined. Between the hosts and everyone attending, I had a blast, made some new friends and most importantly, got practice on shooting some weddings in a new way.

One advantage of a styled shoot (especially for weddings) is that you can practice some new techniques that you normally would not be able to or would not want to remotely attempt at a real wedding for the first time. One of the biggest challenges for me that I’m learning is off-camera flash to create some more unique and artistic styled photos. Check them all out below!
