When Alexis and David Bonagura tied the knot, their journey as high school sweethearts came full circle. Their high school sweethearts wedding was nothing short of extraordinary, showcasing a love story that began at Ramapo High School and blossomed into something truly beautiful. Even when 2020 threw them some unexpected challenges, they turned their front lawn into an upscale wedding reception venue after a heartfelt ceremony at the Brownstone in Paterson, NJ.

A High School Sweethearts’ Wedding with Personal Meaning

What made this day even more special for me was being remembered by Alexis and David from our high school days, back when I was “that guy” with a camera and a passion for photography. It’s surreal to think about how life has brought us back together to celebrate such a milestone in their lives.

From Classmates to Soulmates: Alexis and David’s Journey

Alexis and David met as classmates at Ramapo High School and have been through so much together since then. Now, they’ve officially tied the knot and started this next chapter as husband and wife. I first met Alexis back during my time in the marching band, and I got to know David while attending all the high school football games.

A High School Sweetheart’s Moment: The 49-Yard Field Goal

One of my fondest memories is watching David kick a 49-yard field goal to win the state championship football game at Kean University. It was such an unforgettable moment, and seeing that same determination and passion carry through into their relationship is truly inspiring.

Their high school sweethearts wedding was not just a celebration of their love but also a beautiful reminder of the journey they’ve shared, filled with memories, challenges, and triumphs. It’s heartwarming to see old friends come together to celebrate their marriage and the rest of their lives together.

I couldn’t be happier for Alexis and David, and I absolutely can’t wait to see what other amazing life events they’ll experience together.
