Before we get into this, I wanted to shoutout one of my best friends, Tom Russo, for connecting Ananis and I. Ananis owns and runs her own event and wedding planning services called “Events by Ananis“. Ananis reached out to me for some branding photos to showcase herself and her personality behind the Events by Ananis brand.

What started as some portrait sessions became a fun brainstorming text message thread that ultimately helped us plan to get some of the photos showcased below. Working together, we wanted to showcase Ananis’ fun personality along in an environment that she could be found working in.

After a lot of consideration, we ultimately felt that a coffee shop would be one of the best ways to highlight Ananis’ love for coffee and workaholic nature. We looked up some local coffee shops and found Cabana Coffee Company in Wayne, New Jersey to be the best hosts. They welcomed our crazy ideas with open arms and let us shoot while their customers watched. Check out some of the sneak peeks of what we got in our short time together below!
