I’m proud to share that I am a Wedisson Collection 137 winner, with one of my wedding photographs selected from 5,005 submissions. Photographers from 17 countries participated, and only 128 images were chosen.
As an award-winning New Jersey wedding photographer also serving couples throughout Florida, it means a great deal to see this photograph recognized internationally. More importantly, the image began with a real couple who trusted me to create something personal from their wedding day.

What Is Wedisson?
Wedisson is a global wedding photography recognition platform that has featured photographers from around the world since 2015.
Photographers submit their work to monthly collections, and Wedisson’s editors select the strongest images for publication on the organization’s website and social platforms. Each selection also contributes to a photographer’s career progress and annual ranking.
Being selected means that one photograph stood out among work created across different countries, cultures, venues, and photographic styles. Collection 137 included only 128 images from more than 5,000 submissions.
This recognition also joins the previous winning photographs featured on my official Wedisson photographer profile.
Why Being a Wedisson Collection 137 Winner Matters
An award recognizes one finished photograph, but creating that photograph requires several decisions to come together at exactly the right time.
The light needs to work. The couple needs to feel comfortable. The composition has to remain balanced. Details such as the veil, bouquet, background, and movement all need to support the couple rather than distract from them.
This photograph combines those elements without making the moment feel overly arranged. It is romantic and polished, but it still feels like the couple.
A Kiss in Motion

The bride and groom share a kiss outside their wedding venue, surrounded by a light, neutral setting that keeps the attention on them.
The groom’s beige suit complements the soft tones of the scene, while the bride’s lace gown, white bouquet, and detailed hairpiece add texture. The couple is positioned toward one side of the frame, leaving room for the bride’s veil to extend across the image.
The veil is what transforms the portrait. It moves diagonally through the frame, creating direction and connecting the couple to the open space beside them. A soft layer in the foreground adds depth without covering their expressions.
There is structure behind the photograph, but it does not feel stiff. The composition was intentional, while the kiss and movement of the veil keep it personal.
Creating Movement Without Losing the Moment
A veil photograph may look effortless, but timing makes the difference.
The veil needs enough movement to create shape without covering the couple completely. The angle has to work with the light, and the photograph must be taken before the fabric falls or changes direction.
At the same time, the couple should not feel as though they are waiting through a complicated production. Clear direction allows the portrait to come together quickly so they can enjoy the experience instead of thinking about every detail.
That balance is part of my approach to wedding portraits. I will guide the elements I can control, then leave room for movement and interaction to make the photograph feel natural to the couple.
What Award-Winning Photography Means for My Couples
Awards are meaningful, but couples need more than one strong photograph.
They need a photographer who can document an entire wedding consistently, including the portraits, family photographs, ceremony, reception, and smaller interactions happening throughout the day.
That work begins before the wedding. I take time to understand what matters to each couple, help them build a photography timeline, learn about their venue, and prepare for different lighting conditions.

My style combines photojournalistic coverage with creative, stylized portraiture. I provide direction when it helps create a stronger photograph, then step back when a moment needs space to happen on its own.
The result should be a complete collection of images that feels cohesive while still reflecting the personalities of the people in it.
Wedding Photography in New Jersey and Florida
Based in New Jersey and Orlando, I photograph weddings throughout New Jersey and Florida, along with destination celebrations.
Every venue presents different opportunities. A clean exterior can become the setting for a veil portrait. A ballroom can provide bold architecture and dramatic light. A crowded reception can create an image built entirely around movement and expression.
The location may change, but the goal remains the same: create photographs that are personal, visually strong, and connected to the experience of the wedding.
